We offer online and in-person Therapy Intensives for individuals and couples in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout California. Some clients located outside of California may also be eligible to participate. Please reach out to determine whether you would be a good fit for an Intensive.

Our approach to therapy Intensives
Our founder, Jessica Engle, MFT is a relationship expert with over 16 years of experience in the field. She blends drama therapy, parts work, somatic tools, research-backed couples therapies, mindfulness, and neuroscience-informed practices to help clients build wildly satisfying relationships.
Rather than just talking, you’ll learn by doing. That might involve exploring inner parts through role-playing, working through relationship patterns in real-time, or practicing new ways of speaking and showing up with others.
Each Intensive includes:
A 90-minute pre-Intensive session to clarify goals and begin treatment planning
One or more days of focused therapy (3 hours/day)
A 90-minute post-Intensive integration session to reflect and solidify gains
A personalized workbook to guide your experience and track progress
What happens during an Intensive?
Therapy Intensives take place either online or in person at our Berkeley office. Each day follows a gentle but focused structure to help you stay grounded and supported. Here’s an example:
10:00–10:15 AM — Welcome and check-in
10:15–11:45 AM — Intensive therapy session
11:45–12:00 PM — Break
12:00–1:00 PM — Continued therapy and wrap-up
You’ll receive customized exercises, practices, and take-home strategies throughout your Intensive to ensure lasting growth.
Intensives are available on weekdays and weekends. Some clients travel from out of the area, treating their Intensive like a retreat.
